Diagnostics "Essay" An important decision I have made in my life was choosing to take dual enrollment in order to get an Associates in Arts degree. This particular decision is important because it gives me the opportunity to get ahead in both my college and high school credits, while also being able to move towards the career I would like to have as I continue my education. While taking college classes and high school classes at the same time will not be a walk in the park, I made this decision because I know that in the long run I will be able to get a head start on my college credits while also finishing up the ones I need to graduate high school. While college classes will be much more advanced than the classes I currently take at my high school, I am ready to put in a lot of hard work and a lot of my time in order to get ahead in life, and be the best that I can possibly be. My decision to pursue an Associates in Arts degree while still in high school will be difficult, but I know that overall this decision will help me get to where I want to be in the years to come. The career I want to pursue as I get to college is to get a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing, and become a registered nurse. When I first chose this career I knew it wasn't going to be easy, that it would take a lot of dedication and hard work. That is why I chose to take dual enrollment, specifically with Valencia because I knew the opportunities they have for becoming a nurse, and their many programs involved with nursing. I know that as time goes on, and as I continue to grow and change, I will look back at this time in my life and be glad that I chose this path. While this period may get tough, and I feel as though I won't be able to continue this path or feel as though I may give up, I will reflect on why I chose to do this in the first place. I made this decision because I wanted to help myself out in the future, and know that I won't have to struggle as the years come. That is why I believe my decision to take dual enrollment has been the most important decision I've made in my life so far
